Delayed Cancer Diagnosis

A diagnosis of cancer is no longer the terminal sentence it has been in the past. With early detection and timely treatment of colon cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, cervical cancer, and others, the chances of survival beyond the five-year milestone are increasing every day. Unfortunately, despite all the screening techniques available, a cancer diagnosis is sometimes negligently delayed or even mistaken for another health issue.

Ignoring or misreading the early warning signs of cancer has dire consequences. The longer a diagnosis of prostate, colon, cervical or breast cancer is delayed, the more likely it is to progress at an unmanageable rate. As cancer progresses unchecked, its effects become more devastating. Misdiagnosis or delayed diagnosis can lead to loss of life expectancy, loss chance of cure or survival, more invasive, aggressive and costly chemotherapy and radiation treatments, loss of income due to time spent treating cancer, scarring ,disfigurement, and in worst cases, premature death.

If you feel your physician or clinic has disregarded, delayed, missed or ignored warning signs of cancer, or if you have received a delayed cancer diagnosis, you should seek the advice of a competent attorney to evaluate your claim. At GR, the attorneys . T have the knowledge and expertise to accurately assess and thoroughly prepare your case.
