Howard
has been a trial lawyer since 1978 when he first stepped into
the court room as a Captain in Judge Advocate General’s corps of
the United State Army. After spending 3 years in the active
service of the US Army, Howard became an assistant corporation
counsel for the City of New York, defending NYC in claims
arising from the negligent operation of NYC services. While
honing his skills as a trial lawyer for the City of New York,
Howard felt a deeper calling and in 1982 shifted his energy to
representing those that have been injured by negligently
delivered medical care, defective products, wrongful conduct on
the streets and roadways of our nation. Howard has successfully
litigated cases on behalf of injured people in his home state of
New York, as well as New Jersey, Minnesota, North Dakota, North
Carolina, Hawaii, Florida, Maryland and Mississippi and has
handled claims against the United States arising in Germany,
France, Japan, and Italy. He has lectured in New York, New
Jersey, Tennessee, Nevada, California, Hawaii and
internationally in France, Portugal, The Czech Republic, Italy,
Canada, Howard’s and the firms philosophy can be summed up as
follows: “ We always place people over profits in all that we
do.”
